Strict Anti-Spam Policy

Ubud.net maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy toward the sending of unsolicited commercial emails (SPAM).

  • Definition of Spam: Any email sent to a recipient who has not granted verified, explicit permission to receive messages from you.
  • Prohibited Activities: You are strictly forbidden from using your @ubud.net alias for:
    • Mass marketing or bulk unsolicited emailing.
    • Sending “cold” sales emails to harvested lists.
    • Promoting illegal schemes, multi-level marketing (MLM), or “get rich quick” scams.

Legal Compliance (Indonesian Law)

Users must comply with all applicable laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including but not limited to the ITE Law (Electronic Information and Transactions Law). You may not use this service for:

  • Defamation & Hate Speech: Spreading content that is insulting, defamatory, or incites hatred based on SARA (Ethnicity, Religion, Race, and Inter-group relations).
  • Fraud: Engaging in phishing, identity theft, or any fraudulent financial transactions.
  • Illegal Content: Distributing or promoting pornography, gambling, or any other content prohibited by Indonesian Law.

Consequences of Violation

If we receive a spam complaint or a report of illegal activity:

  • Your account will be suspended immediately without prior notice.
  • No refunds will be issued for accounts terminated due to a breach of these terms.
  • We reserve the right to report illegal activities to the relevant Indonesian authorities (Cyber Crime Polri).
